Game Design

I have studied and graduated from Uppsala University's Bachelor's Programme in Game Design and Programming. During the education, I have studied many different fields in game design and was able to put all the theory into practice in multiple educational game projects. and many more personal projects.


Being a game designer and a programmer allows me to utilize both a creative and a technical perspective when it comes to problem solving.

Thesis

A study examining the ways in which the base building mechanics are incorporated into the narrative progression of Subnautica (Unknown Worlds Entertainment, 2018). The theoretical lens used in this thesis is constructed from theories of cognitive narratology, emergent narrative, and narrative gameplay mechanics.


This research is beneficial for researchers and game developers that seek a deeper understanding of the impact that the integration of base building mechanics and narrative progression has on survival games.
