I pitched the game concept and assembled the development team. As a programmer I worked on combat, 3C, AI, HUD and the shop system. This project was my first opportunity to push it as much as I could as the only programmer in terms of how much work I can get done in 7 weeks. It was a test of limits as well as a learning experience on gameplay programming and game feel. I learnt the importance of game feel and how much polish can be applied to common gameplay mechanics that can easily be dismissed as too simple such as normal movement, jumping and a basic 3-hits combo. As a game designer, I worked all design aspects of the game, and designed and built all 3 zones of the game.
You play as a knight named Luna who is on a quest to avenge the death of her husband by the cult of Cthulhu. You journey to the Castle of Cthulhu and explore its different unique parts as you fight your way through hoards of many dangerous creatures to achieve your revenge no matter the cost.
